RVs At Monroe County Gairgrounds

The Monroe County Fairgrounds will be handling the parking for the Agility, Conformation, Obedience and Rally venues. There is ample parking (150 sites) with 30A and 50A hookups as well as water. There is an on-site dump station and bathroom / bath houses.

Reservations may be made directly with the Monroe County Fairgrounds by calling 734-241-5775 during normal business hours of 9 AM to 4 PM daily during the week.  Payment for the RV spaces will be made at the time of the reservation and Monroe County Fairgrounds only accept credit card.  If you wish to be parked near someone else, please make your reservations together.  The best method is to call with the required information for the entire group that will be placed together and make the payment at that time.  The information needed for the reservation is available in the following form:

Confirmations will be sent via email within a few days.  Reservations may be cancelled without penalty through August 26, 2022.  No refunds will be available after that date. Please call the fairgrounds to cancel any confirmed reservations.  Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible, however final processing may not occur until after the event.  Parking regulations will be strictly enforced.  Parking areas will be considered part of the show site and any infractions will be referred to the event committee for action.

RV Site Information

No running of generators will be allowed unless special permission is granted by RV Chairperson.  Each RV site will have water, electric 20/30/50A hookups. All spaces will be approximately 45’ ft long and 25’ ft wide.  For each RV space, an indication of the required length of your power cord will be provided.  Within your assigned space, trailer and towed vehicles are considered together as one unit.  RV’s must leave the grounds by  Sunday, Sept. 11th at 12 noon unless you are attending the WC/WCX, at which point you can return the evening of Sept. 11th to pick up your RV and head out (gates will not be locked the evening of Sept. 11th). 

Septic clean-out will be handled on Wednesday (Sept. 7^th) and Saturday (Sept. 10^th).  (You will be able to dump on-site on arrival before parking.)  You may sign-up for this service while making reservations for spaces or upon arrival at the fairgrounds office (east end of the Expo Center bldg.).  Payment for this service will be cash the day before service by 4 PM at the Fairgrounds office in the Expo Center.  Cost – 25 gallon or less – $20, 0ver 25 gallon tank – $30 for 1^st tank and $20 for second.

Parking will be available on Friday, September 2, 2022. Arrival times will be as follows:

• Friday 9/2 –     9AM – 5 PM
• Saturday 9/3 – 9 AM – 5 PM
• Sunday 9/4 – Monday 9/5 – 24 hour entry
• Tuesday 9/6 – 9 AM – 5 PM
• After Tuesday – by appointment only

Upon arrival, you will enter the gate at the east side of the fairgrounds (See map)  Fairgrounds personnel will assist in putting the RV into the appropriate spaces that were reserved.  The sites available for exhibitors to rent can be downloaded here.

RV Rental

If you don’t have an RV but would like to take advantage of the RV experience, there are apparently a couple places close to the Fairgrounds that do RV rentals, if anyone was interested.
